PANAW -Perianesthesia Nurse Awareness Week February 4-10th

While we wait for our Proclamation from the Governors Office, PANAW week is fast approaching!

Nurses working in preanesthesia and postanesthesia care, ambulatory surgery, and pain management are dedicated to caring for patients and their families. They are passionate about what they do as nurses. PANAW is an opportunity to educate nursing colleagues and the community about the professionalism and passionate care that is delivered by perianesthesia nurses every day.

Plan to celebrate our practice and recognize your colleagues during PANAW 2019

There are still several things you can do to make the week a success:

Plan to Celebrate PANAW at Your Hospital or Place of Work - Announcements in employee publications, displays of PANAW posters and products, even offering cake and coffee within your unit are all a great start. Send pictures of your celebration to Breathline editor, Barb Godden, at bgodden@aspan.org for possible inclusion in the newsletter.
