Outstanding Clinical Practice Award

FLASPAN's Outstanding Clinical Practice Award recognizes clinical nursing practice in perianesthesia or ambulatory surgery nursing. Deadline to nominate is August 30, 2019.

Criteria include:

• Current member of ASPAN/FLASPAN
• Minuimum of 5 years experience in perianesthesia nursing
• Participates in committees or projects related to perianesthesia nursing
• The nurse's practive exemplifies high-quality care, expertise, and compassion

Outstanding Achievement Award

FLASPAN's Outstanding Achievenment Award recognizes a member in nursing praograms, committees, or projects resulting in contribution to perianesthesia or ambulatory surgery nursing. Deadline to nominate is August 30, 2019.

Criteria include:

• Current member of ASPAN/FLASPAN
• Recognized by peers and others as an expert and leader in the field of perianesthesia and/or ambulatory surgery nursing.
• Made contributions to or through perianesthesia and/or ambulatory surgery nursing that have affected FLASPAN and/or Districts
• Demonstrates outstanding knowledge and expertise in the practice, education, research, and/or management areas of perianesthesia and/or ambulatory surgery nursing

District of the Year

FLASPAN's Distric to the Year Award recognizes excellance in district leadership and membership development, communication, education services, and community relations. Deadline to nominate is August 30, 2019.

Criteria include:

• Provide approved contact hours at regular meetings and/or seminars.
• Financial assistance for members to attend workshops, seminars, or conferences.
• Participate in community programs.
• Recognize individual members, achievements or activities completed within that year.
• Utilize the attached Nomination Form.
• Describe what the district does to promote PeriAnesthesia Nurses Awareness Week.
• Active representation in FLASPAN activities by the District Representative.
• Not eligible to receive this award two years in a row.
